No, they aren't related. Amy loves Sonic and tries her best to win his heart. Sonic doesn't seem interested in a relationship, but back than, The creator of Sonic claimed Sonic loves her, but is too shy.

Thank you all for making this my mosr popular picture. 20 likes may not be a lot, but I feel kind of sad when I look at my picture status' each day, and find it hasn't been liked at all. Meanwhile, people on Colors Live are becoming best of the week for either tracing, or literally writing "Don't make this popular" I thought I'd never get at least 20 likes for any picture, so thank you.
