The episode was aired in the US, but not in the same order as Japan, plus, 4Kids Entertainment edited this part (James has inflatable boo.bs) out, along with other ***ualized-seeming scenes. The anime first aired in america in ninety-eight, but the episode was a "lost episode" that aired in June of two thousand.

Also when Ash battles Misty on the first episodes they didn´t dub the same thing as the original. Ash´s pokedex says that Staryus are hermaphrodites, therefore it can be with males and females. Of course they didn´t add that to the american version.
