As long as you made up that drawing originally, that you're okay. It's still called tracing, but at least it's not stolen.
It's only when you steal art from smeone else and trace over it is when it's bad.

The real problem isn't tracing, it's plagiarism.

actually- when you trace your own work it's called inking or re-inking. you're bueno :3
