Ivy as a child was brutaly beaten and t.ortured daily by her abusive father until he finaly abandoned her to die.After a few days she was cold tired and hungry when she suddenly fell down a hole that she didn't see, hit her head and passed out when she awoke pitch showed himself to her and was suprised to see that she overcame her fear of him.she frequently sought him out after he became very close to her (in a friendship like way) unknown to pitch Ivy considered him to be her first friend
