I'd like to see this get to at least weeks best, not at all because it's an amazing picture, or because I'm such a great artist. I'd like to see it on the lists just to make a statement. Every day I see predators getting the FCs of admittedly underage children and asking them to swap n'udes. Colors seriously needs to do something serious about this. It isn't art. It's a Federal crime.

Seriously. I can't believe that young people would draw that and put themselves in risk of getting in trouble. This is why I hate getting on here sometimes, and I've only been here for less than 3 months.

One thing Colors could do to police these creeps better would be to add a report button on the 3DS app. Its hard for the bulk of their users to report these ped0s because they have to get to a computer, turn it on, log on, find the offending pic, and FINALLY report it. Most of the time they don't get reported and banned and continue taking advantage of children.

and about 10 of these things show up around the time you posted this. Sigh.
Liked. I hope this does make it into weeks best....But these idiotic little tweens who post most of this stuff are arrogant and willfully ignorant. I don't know how much it'll help..:/

I know a few people in the gaming journalism industry. They featured a couple posts about kids seeking girlfriends on Colors. They might be interested in a story about child predators taking advantage of the lax policing here on Colors.

Not only are idiots that do this putting themselves at risk, but it could put the colors community at risk too by having the wonderful online gallery feature removed and ruined for all the decent users of colors. All it takes is a couple of formal complaints to colors on this topic and a few lawsuits there way and it could all be over. This kind of thing is giving colors a bad name. :/

Sure would suck to lose this fantastic app because of a few ped0s.

When I first saw this pic, Matt, I was concerned. After reading the description it became. Your account wasn't hacked, no one was trying to defame your name. No. Instead, a good man saw something bad was happening and decided to try to change it. I wholeheartedly agree, Matt. Something must be done. Nice 3D btw. :)

It seriously drives me nu'ts bro. I realize that evil people will always do what they can to take advantage of precious, underage choldren. But this is 2013. You can't tell me we don't have the technology and ingenuity to kick and keep these predators out and keep kids safe on this fine app.

Just so everyone is aware, I talked to Colors! and they said they will be bringing the "Report" button to the 3DS version this coming update. I assume the "Mature" rating will be coming with it as well. We can only hope.

I agree with you all.
But unfortunately I don´t think one pic can put an end to this. I think the colors staff are aware of these kind of pics being uploaded in here, and it wouldn´t surprise me if they already blocked some accs.

It´s just hard to determine who exactly uploaded the pic. There are also lots of trolls uploading such things.

I totally agree with you. Completely eliminating this problem is impossible. But having a noticable impact, further reducing these des'picable acts, is totally possible. Colors definitely is doing a great job with the tools they have, and the update will definitely help. But I believe the Colors users themselves may have some more, brilliant, simple ideas on how to combat these child predators.
