i agree the deku butlers son left termina on the way he met the posessed skull kid majoras mask sucked out his soul then the soul was forced to cling to another body[ link] that put the soul in agoney and pain thus playing the song of healing cleared the soul of pain and regret turning him into a mask [the warped appeatence of the deku butlers son is how the mask stole his soul [legend of zelda majoras mask is the creepyest zelda game]
