After the episode started ending, literally all I did was throw as many curses as I can to the screen, then inserted my palm to the face.
Even though I didn't like the fact that this episode felt like it went too fast, I still really enjoyed the episode alot, like I said, the whole alicorn Twilight thing still bothers me.
The songs were epic, but a bit silly with some talk during the singing, I would still download an instrumental version.
I also loved how the characters had emotion. Seeing Shining Armor cry and the reaction from the five, wow.
I just really hope Twilight goes back to being an unicorn. I can't wait to see the upcoming movie.
Lastly, SO HAPPY DERPY'S NOT DEAD!! :D

Ponies are more fun being just normal, not some overpowered creature. Plus, it happened WAY too soon, it's barely season 3.

I said 'What?' when the ep started and right off the bat twi was singing.
I was suprised to see vinyl scratch in the 'Pinkieshy' scene. A nice nod to us bronies!

They make cheap toys that look nothing like the characters, remove derpy, turn Celestia pink, STOP a group of fans from making Fighting is Magic, turn the main character into an alicorn to make more cheap toys....yet stupid bronies will still buy them while continue to worship Hasbro. -_-

I just hope Twilight doesn't change much personality wise. She's the pony I can relate to the most, and I'd hate to see her become a Mary Sue.

I think it was a great episode..... to end the series NOT THE SEASON. Make Twilight a princess with season 4 on it's way is a bad idea. I hope it's temperary.

Still hate being the prince/princess?
It better be temperary, right now, I'm thinking of possibilities on how she can live back to her regular life. Once Celestia said her litle speech on why she got the job, I was like "oh sh**"

Oh, this episode. Everyone is mad. First of all I didn´t expect this to be a musical episode but they propably used this to cram as much plot as possible into this episodes. And the songs weren´t half-bad, so that´s okay with me. Oh and, yes, Derpy was there! With Derp-eyes! Hurray! Well that´s as far as the redeeming factors go...

But the whole princess-thing? This episode didn´t resolve anything. It didn´t feel like a season finale. I didn´t feel like the show´s finale either. It felt like the set-up to the show´s finale. Honestly, if they don´t return at least some of the status quo I don´t see how they could possibly make a whole new season out of this situation. A lot of stuff has to be resolved during the next season-opener. Depending on how they do it, this episode will either be remembered as a great episode or the exact moment the show jumped the shark. I think it´s too early to talk about this episode´s lasting impact on the show. But I´m concerned, I´m very concerned...

Hah! Love the pic. But will everyone STOP complaining please?! They actually have good models now! I don't think they're released yet though. And it may just be for Twilicorn.. But still! It looks great! The Equestria girls thing, we have no facts about besides that book, it's still a rumor. And the pic was just a concept. And it said nothing about high school. Twilight was destined to be an alicorn since the beginning of the series, they said. You guys must remember, the show AND MAINLY TOYS (except Hot Topic vinyls : D ) are for kids. The best they can really do is give us nods in the show. Just trust the writers, guys. Like we've done for years. Tara Strong said they will be continuing this episode in the season 4 premiere. TL;DR, It's still a kids show, so they have to appeal to kids. Things aren't as bad as they appear.

I feel like saying 'this show was made for kids' is an excuse for bad writing. Why can't fellow bronies share their greviances about a episode? It's not like they're outright hating the show. I love the show, but this episode left a very awkward and bad taste in my mouth. I liked the singing, scenario and everything, but the way they tried to pull it all together wasn't very well done. I don't even know how they are going to make season four with Twilight being a princess. All I know is that the writers better make make 'Twilicorn' temporary with some decent writing, but I'm doubting how well they can pull that off.

I will REVIEW the episode.
It had a great plot but when the music came on, I was confused. I liked the moral of it: "Help your friends any way you can."

I think Twilight becoming an Alicorn was a little early.

(Athens) I´m not sure about accusing them of bad writing as for now. It could be the introduction to a well thought multi-episode storyline. It seems more like Hasbro is trying to take over more amd more of the show to sell thier toys and the writers are trying thier best to make up for it. This is one of the biggest problems behind this though: MLP:FIM got a lot of its attention because it was more than the toy commercial you´d expect it to be. When more episodes come out that make you think "they´re doing it for the toys" rather than "it´s because of what the characters did" it may destroy parts of what made the show interesting in the first place...

Well I agree with mistabeans. I quite enjoyed the episode and I don't expect the show to go spiraling out of control after this.

And c'mon, she could already beat the all-powerful villians of Equestria basically by herself, why does she need to now be a princess?! *deep breath* But whatever, who cares?! I loved the 'space-like part' of the episode. Overall, I watched episode 5 times and just "I have to find a way" nearly 22 times. LOL I loved this episode SO MUCH.

I honestly did mind at first, but then, noticing how much Twilight Sparkle had done and how much she improved, I think she completely deserved it. I liked all the songs with the exception of the one sad song. That was out of place. A True, True Friend almost made me cry when I heard "Pinkie!" because of how endearing it was. It was simply stunning. I have viewed the episode 6 times now.

the main question is.... will the generation sieres continue now that twilight is princess, which means princesses don't appear in episodes,making the mane six, into the mane five, which doesn't sound cool...

I did love the episode alot, it felt like a great disney movie squeezed into 20 minutes, in a good way. The songs, HOLY SHlT, I LOVED "A true true friend" and "Celestia's ballad".
The alicorn part still bothers me alot, but with season four coming somewhere in the summer, I know the writers will change Twilight back.

one thought is they could make 'alicorn' a special transformation spell that only lasts a short time. it could be like sailor moon, she can change but dosent stay that way 24/7
