Techno: yes, i can be if you've never been popular before. especially when you've added alot of friends. but its kindof like a trial for the future. live and learn i always say. i'd like to advise you to NEVER reply to a hateful comment. i have bad habbit of making comebacks when i should really just reply positively or not at all or delete the comment before it creats termoil in your comments section.

Hey, Cartoon Guy and Victor S. you guys are awesome artists, sometimes its hard for people to look at the bright side when the dark side is tearing at you. If you see a hater just delete the comment, like I do. Although I'm not super popular I still get hater comments. I'm trying out a cool comic series but still. You guys are like the founders of colors so, its hard to become popular too, George Washington is THE most well-known president but other presidents have done great stuff too.

TCG, everyone gets haters. espesially haters. haters get hated for hating. basicly the ppl who hate are the people who dont undersrand or just cant accept your success over others. and its because we succeeded over others that they assume we think we're better than them. its best to only to just listen to the more loyal, not out to get you to quit people such as friends, family, and people you trust.

Lolwut, Vic? Why whould I be going to say something? Because I also have some? Or because I´m know to boast out into long speeches from time to time? :I Anyways, what advice I would give? Well, if you need motivation, just look at the number of people who like your jokes. You get tons of likes for everything you do that doesn´t come from nowhere. You have lots of fans, why´d you even consider to quit? Just because some people don´t like you? If you quit you´d just make all your fand those who don´t like your art are propably neutral enough to... not even notice it. But I have another advice for you. One that is a lot more difficult to follow. One thing many C3D!-users have trouble with.

Criticism is not a bad thing. Look at what they´re saying. Some negative comments give you hints on how to improve. Even if they made wrong assumptions about you, it may tell you how you look in the eyes of the puplic. By that I don´t mean that you should let every piece of criticism pierce your heart. But if you see that many people criticise you: Try to improve on yourself. Try to evade the things you were criticised for and do the things you are praised for... unless your fans wish otherwise. Listen to the people, what they like and if the haters still don´t shut up: they´re unpleasable. Just ignore them and follow what your fans say. But don´t become angry at angry comments. Don´t feed the trolls. Don´t solidify wrong assumptions. It may be the more difficult route to take but you´ll eventually be rewarded. By creating better artwork by being a better you. Don´t let the things get to you but evaluate everything people say. And throw it in a trash-bin if they´re wrong or you can´t change it. That´s the best advice I can give....

note rhat there's a difference between critisism and insult. but insult shouldn't be egknoledged to begin with and some critisisms are to completely change your over all doing, style or theme. draw what your best at drawing. you cant satisfy the world. draw from the heart. Thats what i did from the beggining. dont stress yourself and try to go at your oun pace. critisism is fine, but it can hurt if you let it bother you and it makes you feel inattiquit. haters/credits all have one thing in common: they can be really condisending. so make sure you can differenciate between the two.

Hey, I just wanted to say that not every person that criticises you has to be a bother. XP When I see someone who critcises my art and I agree with them I´ll leave it there and consider improving myself. Of course, good criticism is only good if it tells you how to imorove in what you are doing, and doesn´t want you to completely change your style, humor or the things you are good at. When I see a negative comment and I think they´re wrong I correct them and if I´m dealing with trolls I´m treating them like idiots. Of major importance here: Don´t let it get to you. Ignoring negative comments is not the best sulotion, just look at what FlyingPig does... But no negative comment should make you feel sad or angry. If they´re well thought they should make you think and if they aren´t they aren´t worth to being paid attention at all. Don´t let insecurity pull the trigger of your reactions...

Whoever has become the wise one artists look up to for guidence and his VERY long comments are always interesting to read. Anyway back to Vic. your art really does deserve to be in weeks best. Your art style is cute and nice to look at and also your comics are danm hilarious! The reason people may write such comments is possably because they might have art they put a great deal of effort into and not even get more than 1 maybe 2 silver stars on a good day. On the other hand your art has been discoverd and a fanbase has grown. Leading to jealousy from those artists. But if they dont have good art... well then they're just douches. Yep

I´m not saying that complaints can´t be stupid. I just said that they shouldn´t be botherful to you. Complaints about you being in weeks best are shallow and pointless. But answering thier angriness with angriness just makes them believe that you have proven thier point. It´s of major importance to look at your fans because it gives you the motivation to continue. But just listening to the yes-men who support in everything you´re doing might not be the best idea either. All I wanted to say was that you shouldn´t be oblivious to complaints. But you also shouldn´t think that everyone commenting negatively is either a hater or a troll and the worst think that has ever happened in your life. You should be happy about how many people like you art already. And make the haters shut up by either improving yourself or proving them wrong. Sorry for long comments again :(

Or atleast the bigger and more condicending ones. i can look back at Norrila's first comment and understand my mistake was replying negitivly to a negitive comment but i had never delt with such a force before back then. it seems like a toys story where the next possible trial that can hurt you comes after you right after another when your unprepared. And i barley made it out of Naomi and Memeking's flamewars alive. But i did. fans, friends, and alot of witt helped me crawl out of a drench i dug with my oun shovel. But next time i aught to be alot more careful.

What the heck are you talking about? Mr. Original told some lies and some idiots believed it. What´s the matter? Some people don´t share your sense of humor and don´t know why you get so many stars! What´s the f***ing matter!? Don´t you realize that he had a army of haters against him suddenly? He was bashed, he faced hateful comments to no end and you were defended all the way. The reaction to Mr O began to be so incredibly negative after he came out of his small circle of haters that he said sorry and disappeared. A DEDICATED TROLL WHO HAS TROLLED THE GALLRERY BEFORE WENT AWAY BECAUSE HE WAS SO TERRIBLY BASHED BY EVERYONE THAT IT WASN`T FUN FOR HIM ANYMORE! So again, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!? THIS IS NOT HOW IT HAPPENED!

C´mon, really. Really take a look at the comments you get. They are overarchingly positive. In no way are you being cyberbullied. You are just liked by so many people that others who don´t share your sense of humor don´t understand why! Look at how many people want fanart of you. Look at how you are always seen as an authority figure. Look at how people react when you say you are leaving. Why are you even bothered by the small and not even very vocal minority of people who are not only critical of your success but also hate you for very little reason. Yes, some people have different tastes and only the most stupid of them make this a reason to hate anyone. You are clearly above this. Why do you care?

Okay, if you really want to know: Here´s my advice of how to react to three different kinds of people: If they just came here to hate and cause trouble, treat them like youre above this. DON`T treat them like you were better than them. Don´t engage in a discussion. Don´t write much, maybe just a witty comment or a "go away". That´ll either shut them up or make them look like the idiots here...

If you think someone is misinformed or bringing up wrong points, treat them as equals. Try to calmy explain why they are wrong or at least why they don´t have a reason to hare you. If that doesn´t make them at least Neutral to you and if they stick to thier opinions despite having all odds of logic against them, they have identified themselves as type 1 and should be treated as such.

If you think someone has a point, treat them as if you were looking up to them. Take thier points into consideration maybe even ask how they´d think you could improve. And at the end it´s your decision on whether thier advice was good enough to follow it or not. That´s some rules of Colors!3d-etiquette and even basic internet-etiquette I´m teaching you here. Use it wisely.
