Thanks for the comments everyone. When I was working on this painting I maxed out the playback limit with loss of undo and all that. It seems that this is the issue with the corrupted files and complete lack of playback in the gallery. Has anyone heard any news about an update to fix some of the bugs?

^Hmm..I recommend addressing these issues to the Colors facebook page. I just checked it out a moment ago and saw a lot of people asking questions on the wall about technical stuff and updates. And from what I saw, the creator of the app actually responds to the questions. So give it a shot.
