Braker was running as fast as he could, the laughing still swarmed his mind. He watched as Ivory burst past him and lept into the welcoming snow, the light blinded him but he new it was better then this horrid place. he lept out not far behind her but as he did, troubling words boomed through is head 'i can take her too' but his mind barely had time to process the words before he was swallowed by light, he landed with a soft thud in snow up to his belly. As he looked around his eyes began ajusting (spell?) to the bright lit world. he saw Ivory staring at him with worry in her eyes. Braker imediatly shook the worried look off his face. "dont worry, everythings fine" he looked around at the beautiful blue sky, he turned back to her, grinning "look ivory, the blizzards over, we can find our way back!"

Braker watched as Ivory suddenly bounded forword creating a large puff of snow that sprayed Braker. he lept up through the snoe and saw Ivory lying down eating a plump squirrel. As he came up to her she ripped it in half and slid one part over to him. "here." Braker looked at it for a minute then replied "no, yyou need it more then i do." he paused for a second, looking around. "wait, if that squirrel just came from its nest, there mqy be a family in there." As Ivory finished the last of the squirrel Braker began sniffing the snow, he caught sight of a few small prints in the snow, they were the same squirrels prints that Ivory had just ki,lled. he followed them with Ivory right beside him. The tracks lead to a large pine tree, the needles hung like tiny blades and sparkled like diamonds. Braker picked up the sent of a new squirrel and it led to the tree. he turned to Ivory who had picked up the sent as well. "Ever climbed a tree?" he grinned and lept up onto a branch

Braker through his head back letting escape a large throaty laugh. "Thats what makes things so interesting!" then leaping up to a much larger branch called back to her "The nest is halfway up the tree!" Ivory lept up beside him and Braker steadied her wobbly landing. "Here try landing with your paws wide and you legs bent slightly, it makes a large difference in your landing

Braker noticed a tiny trickle of blood that hung onto Ivory's muzzle. /i'll have to make sure that isnt infected/ he thought as he stepped pass her. He paused with his eye peering into the small hole of the tree. he could hear tiny squeak followed by miniture breaths. Braker could almost imagine the plump little animals waiting in the tree. with a fast movement he thrust his paw inside and curving his wrist, managed to catch a squirrel, he sunk his claws into its chest and pulled the limp squirrel out of the hollow. he heard another small scurrying sound and reqlized their was another one in there. he turned to Ivory, "now you try again,im positive you will get it." he walked back as Ivory took his old place and he began ripping apart the delicous meat.

Braker looked at her smiling, it told her that she had just done a great feat. he walked to where she sat, the dead squirrel in her jaws. She began to bite down on it then looked up at Braker saying "you should have some to." Braker calmly replied, "nonsense.you caught, so its yours, you need it more then me." As Ivory almost reluctantly bit into the squirrel, Braker gazed around the trees, "hey, do you recognized any of these trees? they dont seem all to familiar to me."

Braker had been staring intently at the trees around him when Ivory took off, he had not noticed it, for what he was ataring at was no tree he had ever seen, nothing about it seemed familiar, it was a very dark brown and the spindly branches seemed to point at him like knives. he looked up and realized Ivory had taken off, finding her sent he raced off to find her. As he rushed through the snow he turned to take one last look at the tree but it had vanished. Ignoring it, he turned hid head back to the scent trail. Very quickly the dense forest thinned out until he was in a clearing, this, Braker recognized. As he turned to head in the direction of his den he saw Ivory running off in a different direction. so he went after her, though she was very fast and agile, making it hard to chase her. Then he saw a den up ahead, realizing Ivory was heading home

Braker embraced the pationate kiss. Ivorys heat seemed to pulsate around them and the snow that lay tenderly on the ground swirled around for a minute. As the lovely kiss ended they both took a small step back, though they were still face to face. He stared into Ivory's beautiful glassy green eyes, he could see his reflection through them but right now Ivory was all he wanted to see. he could feel her hot breath on his muzzle. His purple eyes blazed like a fire, he nuzzled her and as his mouth passed her ear whispered "i'll be... where ever you want me to." smiling slightly he closed his eyes, there was so much more he wanted to say, to tell her so she new how he felt. but to utter those words, Braker wasnt sure he could.
