This is one of team Plasma's unused logos. However, most of the time, (namely in the wild) pokemon attack you and your pokemon are just protecting you. Even a guy with a gun has no chance against a metal knight and his bladed minions (Pawniard and Bisharp) but your Emboar just has to sneeze to roast them. The fighting for money part can be a way to brag and bet about your electrified mouse buddy, and the are orbs for easy transportation.
