How does she really look! Hope she's not a spy. lol too out of context. This sort of makes me think of putting a twist on the classic and century old painted portraits of people in their rooms and houses. But this has entirely its own narrative. Even so it doesn't feel unrelatable. How it's painted in response doesn't make me sad actually. Instead the suspense is well preserved. Pretty inquisitive.
(The Cartoon Guy) Don't do that! (Water Works the Wolf) No, it's not. (Eclair) I didn't think people would notice that. (hibernial) "old painted portraits of people in their rooms and houses" is exactly what I was going for. Notice the clothing and architecture. It suggests that this was a commoner. (everyone else) Thanks for your comments!
Dunno how she's feeling but definetly not happy. Not with that terrifying fog outside and she wouldn't be wearing that mask that makes her look like happy. This kinda creeps me out!
I think she feels really out of sorts. There was something about her that was bugging me, and it wasn't the mask. I finally figured it out. I'm not trying to judge your work poorly- you are a more talented artist than I. But I couldn't help but notice her body position isn't realistic. I'm assuming that the part under her chin is her shoulder- if it's her chest, my mistake. But if it is her shoulder turned so it faces toward the window, then her head cannot comfortably turn to a three quarters view. Believe me, I tried to do that in a mirror. Her neck would have tons of creases and the shoulder itself would be in front of her neck, if that makes any sense. Just trying give constructive criticism. The shading and idea is great otherwise. :)

Cool! The expression of the eyes are wonderful: I love how they suggest an emotion differing from the mask.

Love the mask! ;P But her eyes tell of sadness, and the window suggest she might be waiting for someone or she might want to go out

This picture really ''speaks'' for me :(
My parents got divorced about a year ago. I am forced to 'visit' him two times a week. He pretty much forces me to love him :(
Thanks for painting such a meaningful piece of work :')
