I heard April clamber up and rush into the entryway, ''She's hurt! We have to get her inside!'' I exclaimed.
''Holly she might be with them'' April reasoned.
''And theres a chance she might not be! I'm not risking that!'' I rebuked, ''Help me get her on the couch.''

April sighed and came over grabbing the girl by the shoulders while I supported her legs, making sure to avoid the large wound across her left leg. As soon as we settled her on the couch I turned to April, ''Get JB from upstairs.'' I managed to say calmly.

''No need,'' April said, gesturing to the stairs. JB was coming down, rubbing sleep from her eyes. ''What's with all the racket in here guys?''
''Someone collapsed on the steps outside, we need help. She's in bad shape,'' I said evenly.

That was it, JB snapped awake going into doctor mode. She rushed to the counter grabbing her medical bag and practically ran into the sitting room.
