Disagree. There's nothing wrong with it.
Sometimes the flow of new paintings goes too fast and someone's painting gets little notice despite them spending a lot of time on it. I have this problem myself. Now I can understand getting annoyed with people who post the same: "please like the original" over and over again. But other than posting it once or twice, they're just trying to get some attention for their work. And though you can say being popular isn't a big deal, to others, it can mean a lot to them just to get in week's best.
The only thing that really annoys me on here is people calling other people pathetic, annoying, or to go ki.ll themselves, simply for posting their painting a second time, tracing, or asking for a gf/bf. If you don't like it there's no need to be mean to them, or to even tell them to stop it. People prefer to be themselves, they probably wont quit doing what they're doing just because you don't like it. :/

Well, its not always necessarily about whether you can get popular with it as much as it is about getting enjoyment from what your doing. While it is true a lot, people do like to see they're stuff get popular, but that happens on its own over time. ewe This is just what I think, BUT I do have to agree with you on the whole ppl being horribly mean to them about it. eAe

Like I said though, while it is nice to get popular (I'm sure everyone, even if its just a little, strives to be popular) it shouldn't be what drives you, the enjoyment you get out of it should be your motivation. ; w ;
Now i'm not saying its bad to want to be popular, just that you should let it develop on its own, with hard work and practice you can get anywhere, you just gotta have the passion and patience. uwu
