Alright, here we go! Okay, so this is Stardust's outfit/dress. It is made of the fire from a dying star, and shows the elegant, yet confident side of Stardust. The skirt begins with an enchanted gold and copper ring that controls the fire's shape. The fire itself continually flows like a waterfall, the bottom fading and the top flowing down in it's place. The crest on the necklace is the heart of the star, giving energy to the fires. Traced from my sketch-book.
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

Random story idea time!!!!!! So, you know that Princess Luna controls the stars and such? Well, Stardust is made of stars and therefore, technically still under Luna's control. So I was thinking 'What if Luna when back to being Nightmare Moon? How would that affect Stardust?' Well, I came up with this. It's partially a actual written story, partially just the plan of it, so please bear with me.
'Stardust had returned home to Canterlot for the holidays, taking a break from her usual travels to spend time with her friend Princess Luna. Stardust couldn't stop smiling as the train rushed towards the station of her home at a rate almost no pegasus could fly or earth pony could run. Soon she would be back at the castle, catching up with her royal friend and as far as she was concerned, sister. The train ground to a stop, and the starlit mare stood and stretched her cramped joints, including her wings, then regret it when her abnormally large wings smacked her seat partner in the face. Stardust apoligized and quickly exited the train car, embarassed. Her spirits lifted quickly though, as she looked around. Canterlot was as gloious as ever, and seemed almost too colorful with all the rainbow banners hung on every possible surface. Most were adorned with images of the sun, proclaiming to everypony that it was once again the Summer Sun Celebration, and this year Princess Celestia was comensing the cerrimonial sun-raising in the capital itself. Stardust began to walk towards the palace, letting her hooves guide themselves down the familiar cobbled streets, eyes absorbing as much of the scenery as possible. Some ignorant ponies, most likely tourists from far away, stared at Stardust in awe and confusion. They assumed that she was possibly a princess because of her body structure, which was very similar to Princess Celestia and Luna's, with flowing mane and tail to match. The only thing that was different, other than coloring, was the absense of a horn. Stardust ignored the stares, completely callous to them by now, and reached the castle enterance. The gaurds nodded to her, giving her immediate passage into the equisitely adorned main hall of Canterlot Castle. Stardust's ever-present smile bloomed into a look of pure joy as her hooves made a familiar clacking on the marble floor, increasing i speed as she raced down the halls towards the main throne roon of the two princesses of Equestria. She gradually slowed down her pace to a mild trot up to the closed doors of the throne room. The head gaurd sat just outside as usual, and smiled slightly as he saw the starry pegasus. "Well well, the traveller returns in one piece." The golden coated stallion proclaimed with a hint of amusment in his voice. "I'll have to collect my bits from the other gaurds. They were sure that you would be coming back without your wings." Stardust rolled her eyes and smiled. "Thank you for having such faith in me, General, though I almost lost my wings in more than one occasion." The general laughed heartily, then motioned to the closed door. "Princess Celestia isn't busy, so you can go in." Stardust nodded and pushed open the door with one hoof, the heavy oak making barely any noise as it moved to allow her inside. Stardust's breath caught in her throat as it did everytime she entered the grand throne room. The windows were made of stained glass, the multi-colored pieces put together to depict moments in Equestria's history in every swirling piece. The thrones themselves caught the sunlight that streamed through the windows and seemed to absorb it, almost glowing. Princess Celestia sat in the slightly larger throne on the right, and wore a smile that reflected the gorgeous orb of light that she controlled. "Welcome home, Stardust." The sun princess said, rising to hug the mare that had become almost another sister to her. Stardust embraced her happily, then backed up a step or two to bow as custom. She then looked up at the white mare and said the anticipated wo

rds: "Where is Luna, Princess?" Celestia chuckled at the filly's eagerness to be reunited with her friend. "I haven't seen her tiday, but I would assume she is resting before the festivities. Though I am sure she would be more than happy to see you." Stardust nodded and bowed, then ran out of the throne room in the direction of Luna's bedroom. She raced around to corners at fast speeds, her hooves remembering the way suprisingly well, considering she had bee go e almost a fulm year. After six right turns and four lefts, she reached the night princess's quarters, which was protected by two night pegasi who looked at her with slitted pupils that held a suprising amount of warmth if you knew where to look. "You may enter, Stardust. And may I say it is nice to see you once again." The leader of the two spoke in a gravelly tone. "And it is fantastic to see you again as well, Nightshade. Thank you." Stardust said with a smile as she opened the door to her friends chambers. The door shut behind her as it had always done, but an unfamiliar cold hit Stardust square in the nose within seconds, causing her to reel back a bit. She squinted her eyes, attempting to see in the also unfamiliar inky blackness. Luna had always enjoyed the dark, but this darkness seemed....malicious. Stardust felt the hair on the back of her neck rising up and a shiver run diwn her spine. Suddenly, a dark purple light surrounded Stardust's body and dragged her foreward towards what looked like a pony sitting in shadow. Stardust relaxed slightly and laughed nervously. "Hi, Luna, I'm back." The shadow did not reply fir a few seconds, and it finally did with dark, cold laughter. The starry pegasus panicked, struggling against the magic surrounding her body, but it tightened until she couldn't move a single muscles. Two golden-yellow eyes opened from in the shadow, and a purple flame erupted in a circle around both the ponies. Stardust gasped as the room other occupant was revealed by dark flickering flames. Nightmare Moon.' *TO BE CONTINUED*

'Stardust looked at the cold and cruel smile on the dark mare's armored face. The smokey and metallic plates covering Nightmare Moon's body dully reflected the light of the purple flames, and her eyes held depths of evil and anger that nopony else could ever understand. The starry filly attempted to shout for help, but her vocal cords twisted, crearing only a grating yelp that choked her. Nightmare Moon studied Stardust closely, then laughed again. "So, you were Luna's little made-up friend she cared so much about. Can't say I'm impressed." Nightmare Moon's voice was perfectly evil and full of malice. Stardust felt hr vocal cords relax slightly, and she spoke quietly but full of a bravery she hoped seemed real. "I AM Luna's friend. Present tense." Her brave facade fell through when the dark mare cackled viciously. "That's not what I heard in Luna's thoughts." "What do you mean?" Nightmare Moon sneered. "You left your best friend for a chance to see this dirty world up close. And I must thank you for doing so!" Stardust's eyes became angry slits as she dangled in front of the horrible villian. She whinnied in fury, which barely concealed her rising panic. "She said I was free to leave, and even encouraged me to go make some friends! She said she would be fine!" Nightmare Moon gave Stardust a look of scorn and slammed her hioves of the ground. "You FOAL!!! Your orecious Luna lied to you! You were one of the only friends she had, and you left her to rot! The fact that you abandoned Luna pushed her over the edge, and allowed me to take complete control once again!" Stardust struggled against the mafic bonds, which got tighter with every word that the nightmare before her spoke. Tears spilled down her face as she realized it was all her fault. Suddenly, Stardust was slammed into the far wall by a burst of swirling violet magic.'
11 Feb, 2013, 10:55 pm
'Stardust gasped for air, as the breath had been knocked out of her when she hit the stone wall. She stared at Nightmare Moon in absolute terror, which only made the wicked smile on the dark mare's face grow. "Do you finally understand your situation fully? You have brought about eternal night, and you may not even live long enough to see it!" Stardust choked as the magic field grew even tighter. Suddenly, it dropped away and Stardust fell to the floor. She looked past the spots dancing in front of her at what used to be her friend. The mare was looking at the starry filly like a science expirement with a cold smile on her face. "You were made if pure stars and moonlight," it was not a question but a statement of facts, as if doing a demonstration to a class. "Therefore, being the controller of the moon and stars, I can end you like my weaker part created you!" Stardust's eyes went wide as Nightmare Moon lit her horn with dark magic and hit Stardust square in the chest. A black aura surrounded the moonlit pony's body, so cold it made the room's temperature seem like the tropics. All of her breath was sucked out of her lungs, only for the darkness to fill them instead. Stardust finally let out a scream as her body went numb. Her legs collapsed under her, and she could feel her life energy draining through her hooves into the ground. As her original spark was exstinguished, another one was ignited by the evil magic. The starry filly's irises faded from a sea blue to a cold sapphire and glared at her surroundings. Her coat darkened from a lilac/violet to a black near her back that lightened to white as it moved towards her hooves. Her previously gorgeous mane created from moonlight flared and turned to the color of ash that curled and split like flame. She stood and stretched, flexing her darker and sharper wings. Nightmare Moon stepped back in shock. "How are you not dead, I destroyed your star essence!!" Stardust laughed darkly and spread her wings threateningly. "When a star dies, if it is bright enough, it is reborn as a black hole, which destroys all light around it. I am Void, ready to destroy the light."'

((So I guess I will just pick up where you left off, though my skills do not compare to yours o-o anyway heres a shot))
Ember Blaze glanced around. She had never been to Canterlot before, and she was even unsure why she was here to begin with. It was a trip along with some of her friends she had met earlier. Rarity, the devine unicorn of ponyville, Rainbooks her newest friend from the land of colors, Arctic Chill, her long lost wonderful and ever faithful side kick and best friend and Diamond Back, whom Rarity seemed to grow more and more attached to every day.. Actually, he was the reason they were there. Canterlot was Daiamonds home and he had promised the ivory unicorn a journey there one day. Ember recalled Rarity's constant whining and with a sigh finally gave in. It would be fun to get out of the house anyway.
Upon arriving, Ember looked up and down the gold plated streets. Rarity's eyes sparkled at the sight of the gems that were aligned in every window and door on the block. Rainbooks was there to meet up with Princess Cadence and learn some new magic and she scuttled away without warning. Shortly after Ember heard the new couple talking "Come on my beautiful flower, I shall show you my home." Rarity chuckled in delight turning to tell her friend she would be back soon. Ember nodded and waved at the two "You have fun, we'll meet up later" she shook her head. Those two were shaping up to be as bad as Cheerali and Big Mac. "oh well" She sighed. Looks like it was just her and Arctic now. But what in the world was the fire pony to do in such a magnificent place like this? Shortly, after wondering around for what felt like hours she came upon a small shop. The door was a dark violet that had an eerie appeal to it. embroidered along the edges were white stars that twinkled against the amethyst color. Ember blinked. She wasn't sure why, but she felt a strange attraction to the door. It reminded her of someone she met not to long ago in the land of colors. Stardust was her name, a pony who had saved her life from the Windigo's and from freezing to death in the snow. She turned to Arctic and smiled at him "I'm going in. Wait here I will be back." Arctic was hesitant to go alone but he knew better than to fuel the pyro's flame and simply nodded with a small "Be careful." Ember missed her friend, she wondered how she was doing after so long, silently wishing she had brought the starry Pegasus with her. With a hesitant hoof, she pressed against the door and it slid open. "Hello?" she called out. inside was decorated much like the home of a moderate gypsy. beads hung from the ceiling with gems attached to the bottom. Rarity would have a fit in here she thought to herself. She stepped in as curiosity filled her nose. From the darkness a voice spoke. "Welcome." it said. Confused Ember looked around only to see no one. The voice continued "You are about to embark on a perilous journey, unlike no other. You will be faced with dangers unknown to you or your friends. There will be a task far more fierce and challenging than any pony has ever encountered. Be weary young Ember and tred waters with caution, or you will end up just like her!"
The voice grew as it spoke becoming louder and echoing throughout the shop she was standing in. Trembling with fear, Ember turned tail and ran out the door. She was unsure what the voice meant and she was absolutely terrified to find out.
((wow!! That was much longer than intended, i am so sorry! >.< at this rate we won't be roleplaying, we will be writing a novel XD and I hope you don't mind me putting other ponies in it. Rainbooks and Diamond Back won't really be a part of this i just needed extras to give a reason to be in Canterlot. Anyway hope you enjoy ^^))

*Void stalked around the small space that was her and Stardust's room, which had been radically changed. Shadows were caked on the walls, giving the illusion of an endless dark space that nopony except her could navigate. The floor was littered with torn pages from the many novels that had once had a home on the shelves of the room, but now resided in a pure black abyss that used to be her bed; Void was an insomniac to the highest extreme, never sleeping for weeks on end, until exaustion through her into unconciousness where she stood. But now, Void paced*
"That idiotic 'mare of darkness'! She assumes that she can take over with darkness without destroying the light first!!!" *Void snarled in fury and slammed her hooves into a nearby wall, leaving a hole that shadows quickly filled like a basin. A cruel smile played across the dark filly's muzzle, then disappeared as faded words from far away found her ears* "'Be wary.....tred....with caution.......end up just like....."' *Void whinned angrily as she reconized the voice* "Crystal Gazer." *the evil filly summoned a whisp of shadows to surround her, and she was teleported to the front of a meger shack with a door akin to her old selve's coat. Void snorted and galloped inside, almost breaking the heavy wooden door off it's hinges. The inner part of the shack was lightly shadowed to give an air of mystery and intrigue, but as Void entered, a majority of the light was pulled towards the dark pony and was absorbed into her coat. The light filled the white parts of Void's coat, making her hooves and ear-tip glow in the dark, until her dark magic destroyed it bit by bit. Her cold sapphire eyes scanned the shop for the pony called Crystal Gazer, and found him at the back, near the protection amulets. She ignored the sparkling gems and beads hanging from the ceiling as she stalked over, a vicious smile on her muzzle. Crystal Gazer looked a bit suprised, but then smiled almost happily at the light-destroying figure before him* "Hello, Stardust." The middle-aged stallion said in a voice that seemed to have three ponies speaking in unison. Void hissed quietly, spreading out her sharp wings. "It is VOID, you foal!!!! Stardust no longer exists! Now skip the formalities and tell me," *she leaned in to within inches of the stallion's face* "who were you talking to?!"

((I am too. I'm sorry I haven't replied yet. I fell very ill and have been dealing with my grandma who is in the hospital again. *sighs* my grades are slipping, I'm on the verge of being fired because of the days I've called in without a doctors note but I have a $200 fee to pay before the doctor will see me again. I'm loosing my mind @_@ I'm sorry for the rant. And I have to disagree with you, you are a much better writer than I am. I write lengthy but lack half as much detail as you put in your writing. And I'm not sure why I wrote about a strange door and a prophecy it just came to me, but I like the way it is heading ^_^ Ok..now to reply...))
Ember left the place with a rush ticket speeding down the streets of Canterlot without stopping. She was terrified of what she was told. Arctic trailed behind trying desperately to get answers out of his friend. When she finally felt safe, the fire mare came to a hault and panted trying to catch the wind that was knocked from her as she ran. Slowly she turned to him and spoke through panted breaths. "There was something weird about that place. Someone told me something about a journey and.." CRACK! Her thoughts were interrupted by a sound of something breaking. The sound rang throughout Canterlot. Smokey ears drooped and Ember turned in the direction of the noise. It was coming from the same shack she had just ran from.
"Naturally" she said with a sigh. The fur on her coat stood up but she was a brave pony. She wasn't sure why, but something called her back to that area again and as if her hooves had a mind of their own she began walking back. Slowly, she inched closer until it came into view. the same shop though this time it was different, she could sense a presence inside. An eerie dark aura and desperately she wanted to run the other direction, but her hooves once again had other plans. She stepped closer to the shop and gasped when she saw the door was now on the ground as if something slammed through it with much power. Curiosity got the best of her and she stepped up to the door and peered inside poking only her head in. She heard voices from the depths within and stopped to listen. Maybe she would find out who had frightened her as well as who broke into the shop and why.

*Void snarled at Crystal Gazer as he chuckled quietly, not at all fazed by her threatening stature* "I was talking to somepony who is going to put an end to your dark self." *his eyes grew slightly wider when the shadowy pegasus slammed her front hooves into the old oak shelf holding amulets and jewels of protection. The wood broke into pieces and the crystals fell to the ground, most of them shattering on contact, whisps of smoke escaping from inside. Void whinnied darkly* "Useless talismans," *then turned back to the shopkeeper, laughing darkly* "Neither those worthless amulets or the scraps of leftover magic from your ancestor Syarswirl the Bearded van save you from the destruction I am going to bring to Equestria and beyond." *She smiled cruelly, then whipped her head around as she sensed a presence near the door. Light hoof-steps echoed througb the shop as the pony walked inside. Void snarled and vanished back to her room in a flash of blackness* (you can decide if Ember saw Stardust/Void or not....and don't think you have to reply to this right away!)

Ember listened quietly to hear anything.. clues, as to what the shopkeeper meant or the bigger matter at hand, what was going on. She heard the voice of a dark mare and stepped in closer, just in time to see precious talisman and artifacts knocked from the shelf to the ground shattering. She wanted to use her magic to teach this rude mare a lesson, but there was something off about her. The aura she was creating mimicked that of Nightmare Moon, and though she had never encountered Nightmare Moon before, she heard much about her from her friend Rarity. Ember stood, unsure what she was supposed to do, halfway wanting to turn back now but on the other hand.. she glanced down at her flank and her eyes lit up as they rested upon the flame shaped cutie mark. "That's right" she thought to herself. "My cute Mark represents courage, I'm no chicken!" She said the second part a little louder than she intended and gasped shutting her mouth just in time to see a dark figure step down from her alpha-position. She could just barely make her out, but caught glimpse of a black body that trailed into a bright white and before she could see anymore, the mare vanished. Ember ran to the shopkeeper, who was shaken in fright. Obviously he did not like Void, or her evil ways. "Who was that pony?!" Ember demanded now finding her bravery. She did not like where this was heading but she knew now from the sight she saw as well as the previous statement that she was the one who was supposed to stop this mare, for the good of all Equestria.
(I'm sorry it took so long to reply. I am still sick and si I have not been online as much as I want. I slept from 8:00 last night to 4 today x.x I' slowly recovering but once I start to feel better it comes back. I'm so sick of being sick T~T)

*Crystal Gazer quickly shook his head, mane tussling as he did so, and stared at all the broken shards of jewels that had once held protective power. His pupils were on the surface calm and detached, but directly underneath the surface was drowning in terror* "She is immensely stronger than I had anticipated; it is a suprise that Celestia has not yet sensed her presense in her domain." *he suddenly looked at Ember as if for the first time, and smiled a wane grin that quickly wilted as he looked into her fearful eyes. He sighed and shut his irises in concentration. Not a moment later, the demolished amulets on the dirt floor were enveloped in a pale yellow and green magic and levitated off the cold ground. Piece by piece they were put back together with strong unicorn magic created by Crystal Gazer until they were whole once more, yet missing the supernatural essence that had made them more than mere jewelry. The smoky blue stallion opened his eyes once more to look at Ember, and he sighed: a sound that marked resignation and pain* "That mare-more a monster than a pony-was created by another creature of darkness, that you should have heard of many times in your short life. That mare was created by Nightmare Moon. The very same corruption that took Princess Luna into that dark state has taken another. This mare had recently been a noble pony who's life's purpose was to shine brightly with friendship, but was destroyed by hatred. Your friend and mine, Stardust, has now become a Void of darkness."
