Another character from my story. Man, I have so many things I´d like to draw or continue but RL was keeping me really busy last week... So, first of all, I´m just going on with the forth of the six main characters. Backstory? Comments..

Well, Mike was a clone, created among many other clones of different people to provide sentient but cheap and expandable working units for a mining facility. He was slightly genetically enhanced to be best suited to explore and work in the deepest and darkest regions of the mine. His eyes could see under minimum light conditions and, for places with no light at all, he was abled to "see" his surroundings by using Sonar therefore his helmet can emit sonic waves.

Of course, using sentient clones as working units is illegal in most states of the earth and he was freed during a raid on the facility he used to be working on. Sadly though, the officers who freed him didn´t know that his eyes shouldn´t be exposed directly to sunlight and he didn´t have time to find the special sunglasses he needed to wear in the rare moments he spent in daylight. He was blinded in the first moment they stepped outside. He is now completely reliant on his abilty of using Sonar... Being abled to retrieve one of his old mining gears (not fully legally) he is now set to live in a world he doesn´t fully understand, a big but harmless guy who goes by a name crafted by his serial number. After two years of doing a minimum wage job he finds one of the few people that ever helped him, Kim Yazortasi, who was present during the raid and helped him getting the job afterwards.

(catsRawesomesauce) Yeah, I noticed the similarities too but only after I drew him. Maybe I need to change his design a bit to differentiate him from characters that are actually supposed to be parodies XD

(tlc) Dunno, propably plays on earth, maybe it plays on another planet, maybe it´s never stated. It´s important that it always plays on the same kinda dystopic planet even if the characters want to get away from it XP

He reminds me of Barrett from Final Fantasy VII.
