People that like this and post dots or anything similar already fell ina hole, a deep hole that just lowered the bar on what really is art.

Actually, the creator did it as a joke, not for likes.
There's no point in getting a ton of likes on a dot. It doesn't make you an elite artist of a sort, it doesn't up a rank, and because it's just a dot, people assume you have no talent and will not check your gallery. So what's the point? Does it make you happy? It doesn't hurt that you're getting likes out of this, it hurts that you would stoop so low for faux appreciation.
