How do you make the grass so fluffy? It is so real. :D

What I did for this picture was use the crayon looking brush for the grass and on every layer I made the grass color a little ligher and darker changing the opacity aswell trying to make the grass stand out & not look like one huge green mess, hope you understood that, Im terrible at explaining lol

I understand, but I don't have some of the features on colors. Unless I just can't find them yet, like the crayon. :/

I'm pretty sure the crayon is what I call the soft brush.
