my first 'realistic' landscape.....ever.....and in 3D too, comments welcome. i did want the closet layer to look more like a forest and struggled, so after much annoyance i left it as it is. i mean it doesnt have to be anything if i think it

As you have asked i checking out your landscape, looking good, but i have some tips for you if you like.
1 don't use the texture brush to much.
2 try to use colors closer together you will get a more softer looking.
3 ad more clouds it's pretty simple to do, if you don't know how i can help you on that.
4 if you would like people to think it's a forest you should make some variations in the colors and some tree branches, i have done one you can see in my gallery.
