LOTR: depending on where you live, daisies usually dont require much attention, they grow as we.eds around here. when did you plant them? they could have gotten chilled by the cold air and stopped growth to try and hurry up seed production.

Rhapsodna: it really depends on the variety of fuchia you have. is is a trailing (vine-like) fuchia, or an upright (shrub-like) fuchia? it also depends on where you live. if you live in a colder climate its important to get a hardy variety that can survive colder temperatures. I need more info to give a better answer.

well, i dont know about where you live, but here where i live its much too cold to plant plants anytime before march. now if you're in the southern hemisphere then new years would be in summer rather than winter like it is here. in that case, the only problem i could think of off the top of my head would be lack of nutrients in the soil, specifically nitrogen which is required for producing green leafy foilage and growth.
