Shock's POV: It's useless. There's nothing left. It's all gone. Everything. The food, the weapons, the land, gone. Hope, gone. Light, gone. The only things left are fear, anger and emptiness. We all know it. Even Sam. But she rushes around, trying to find something, anything that's left. After hours of searching for nothing, she comes to her senses and stops. Inferno mumbles something about catching up to the others. I nod. Everyone except me, Flame and Sam start walking toward the temple. She justs stands there, Sam. She just stands there and stares. Then, ever so slowly, she reaches down and touches her hand to the charred ground. A small tree grows up. Sam then stands up and turns her back on everything she knew. But why not finish the job? All she has to do is grow more trees that are bigger and stronger. Flame walks over to me as Sam takes flight. "It wouldn't be the same." He said. "What?" "The forest. If she regrew it, it wouldn't be the same. To her, it would be, fake." I let that statement sink in as we walk. To anyone else, it would be another forest, but, what is so special about it that Sam won't regrow it? What's so special about her?! The more I think about it, the angrier I get. None of this would've happened if she wasn't here! I could still live my life! I wouldn't have to fight! I wouldn't have to watch my friends die! I wouldn't have to ki.ll! Pretty soon, I'm evo. I'm sprinting across the land. Sam is already at the temple when I arrive. I march over. "Hey!" Sam turns away and walks. "Hey!! I'm talking to you!" She ignores me. "HEY!" I let my fist fly. The blow catches her in the back of her head, thrusting her foward. I punch her again, on her collar bone. She doesn't even try to defend. By now, heads have turned. I attack again, this time, kicking. Snaping my foot, hitting the base of her ribs. She goes down hard. I can hear Leails, Ronni and Vio.let scre.aming at me to stop. Sam stands up. I send another punch to the face. Then two more. -
