love is entirely overrated..every couple i know r only together for the kids' sake. Love is a fantasy that only lasts while youre young. Our western cultural idea of love is fairly recent too, things were very different just a century ago. Buddha laughs, it's all in our heads.

...I hate thinking people like me are fortunate enough to find love, then others much nicer than me can't...

It may take a while, but if you seriously want someone to love you will eventually meet someone who wants to love you.

Love is like an apple tree, The kind, beautiful, but somewhat shy girls are at the top (You, Me passion, many others here) And the popular, fake bi.tches are at the bottom. Now when the guys arrive at this tree, one of 5 things happen. A) The guys go for what they see first, and pick the bottom apples. B) They see the beautiful apples at the top, but are afraid of getting hurt when they climb up so they decided to go with a rotten apple instead. C) The guy wont even go near the tree....and wait for the apple to fall into his hands (to get asked out) D) A guy climbs up the tree, simply to show how brave he is, and usally breaks a girl heart. E) Or Finally A wonderful and brave guy, climbs up the tree and picks a beautiful apple, who although thought she would never be loved And maybe thought that something was wrong with her, Realizes in the arms of that guy that it was all a lie and she is perfect just the way she is.....

This may be a good time for me to repeat something I said a while back...it may not be as well thought out as what Ravem or Unknown said, but my own, err, male friend (I don't mean to rub it in, like I said before, I feel terrible I have one and you don't ;~; ) said it was something to really think about...
Alrighty, here goes.
Someone of us here on Colors are still rather young. Heck, I'm 12. Raven's 14, and Dream, I'm not sure how old you are...but I assume in that teen range. Because of us, and the boys we fall in love with being young, sometimes once we have that boyfriend or girlfriend, our minds and hearts may not know how to take it all in quite yet. Some people, who really don't know how to handle it, feel it's right to go straight to...err...tier 15(if you're not an Adventure Time fan, I'm getting at se% )? Those are people who's minds are truly young and unable to take in the true feeling of love. Then there's people in the middle of the idea of it. This is, I assume, the boys we meet (could apply to girls as well). Once you fall in love with these boys, they may seem wonderful at first, but as you grow closer...due to the young and innocent heart, they may not know how to deal with all the affection and kindness. Especially if this is their first time having a lover. Because of them not knowing how to take it in, confusion and stress may take over their mind, leaving them to do regrettable things. Just because a boy broke your heart...doesn't exactly mean it was on purpose. He may love you back...it just might be a bit much to take in at such a young age.
I guess alot of that was from experience...my first bf didnt exactly know how to accept my love you vore, so he kinda rejected me. Glad he did, too, as now I have a wonderful, amazing friend who I have the pleasure of calling my boyfriend...and even with him, we have our fights (mmmm, two nights ago even), but we don't let that tear us apart. If you just have a little fight or dispute with someone you love...don't let that pull you apart.
