I've been playing pokemon for years and I only very recently caught my very first shiny pokemon! A cute little trubbish called Betelgeuse. :3
(The shiny garydos in the gen 2 games doesn't count.)

I been playing pokemon since it first came out and too this day only seen one shiny... a gravler that used explode.. sigh, yet my little brother who hasnt played nearly as long has seen like 6 shinies already and caught a few, he is very lucky
