A painting I made for my English class. In the first panel, we see the miser as a soldier who is now too old for combat. In the second panel, he is older, and now deposits coins in an overflowing bag of coins. In the third panel, he has gotton the plague, and is on his deathbed. In the fourth panel, death enters his room, and the miser refuses his presence. In the fifth panel, he accepts death. In the last panel, he leaves peacfully with death.
