Chapt.1: The end of a new life by YamiMidna
Took 12 hours, story another 3 hours, no reference used, my own OC. I´ll post the story as a comment in colors! I decided that it´ll be not only about AC, but a Crossover with another game. Chapter 1: The end of a new life
Some people say that a person who is near to death lives through his whole life again in a kind of timelapse, the world slows down while the memories of the past are shown before his eyes. Is this what Alex experienced in just this moment?

He opened his eyes again, feeling exhausted. Alex laid on the dusty ground of former New York Zero. The fight has completely destroyed this part of the city, the buildings where once millions of people resided were only ruins now. Crows circled in the red sky above him.
Pain was the only thing Alex felt and it was hard for him to breathe. His precious Eagle Visor has fallen off from his face by the impact, as he failed to dodge the last attack with his grapple hook. The glass was broken.

The skilled Assassin needed just a few, well-aimed strikes with his hidden blades to kill them, but with each dying infected, their number just increased exponentially. He cleared the first wave, one minion stronger than the other. If he wasn´t immune to the infection, he would´ve died already a long time ago. Alex felt himself getting weaker again, the pain and the exhaustion caused by this never ending fight were dulling his senses.
"Am I gonna die like this?", he asked himself. Alex thought about the things that will happen if he failed. The Templars couldn´t control the infected anymore, not as long Paryiah lives. Unstoppable by the military, the infection will most likely spread over the whole world if it ends like this.
No, the assassin won´t ever let this happen. Maybe there was still a last chance... Even if it´s risky and he refused to do it his whole life, even if he couldn´t control himself anymore after doing this, the other option was much worse. All that mattered is that there will still be hope left.

As the next wave of infected was approaching, Alex pulled down his hood and took off his white assassin jacket, tossing it aside. Slowly but steady, he felt a new, dark power forming in his body.
"I won´t die today!", Alex growles, starting to run towards the beasts.

Not usually a big fan of Fanfiction, but this is Fanfiction done right: An original idea, good usage of the medium (a drawing app in this case) and awesome artwork. Good job. :)

The story's very interesting so far and the english is good so no problem there! :P As for the final piece, it's wonderful! And I can't wait for more! (Is this crossed with Prototype? It should be!)
