i understand that, but still i find that most people who portray themselves on here see themselves that way and are not too far off (other than being cartoony) xD

I kind of suck at drawing guys really so that's one of the main reasons I avoid drawing them. Even though they're both people in the end, I think it has something to do with my preference with curved lines. No not like that but the fact that I find it fun to swish the stylus/pencil in swirved movements. It probably started when I was younger and would enjoy running the path of a dragon's long neck with my pencil to create an elegant effect.
