Cheers folks, @ drummer26, I was just experimenting with textures when I started and seeing what effects I could get, just kept on going until something came to me and I somehow ended up with a fairy , it's crazy but for me an exciting way to paint, :)

Gaz: What you said above... You have reminded me of the fun I used to have with the DS - just scribbling, flipping the canvas, seeing shapes etc... and coming up with something from that. I love exploring and doing plein-air, but your comment makes me nostalgic for painting purely from imagination. I have to get back to that aspect soon. Thanks for the tap on the shoulder, or possibly a jab to the kidneys, haha. :)

Munin, yeah ur bang on, thats exactly how I went about painting this, scribbling then turning my I phone on it's side ,upside down ect until something took my eye and kickstarted my imagination, can't wait to see what you produce, have fun scribbling ;))
