I don't think that you should like someones work just because they like yours. Though I like to find works that I like so that I can do so.

'REPAY LIKES' does NOT mean 'a like for a like' in the sense of 'an eye for an eye'..it could aswell be called 'repay visits'. I really think that to have a good community, we all, good and bad artists, should atleast pop by visitor's galleries. I see many, from the superpopular like NIPSU and SILVY, to the totally unknown 'stick figure' member, who NEVER 'make the rounds', NEVER post supportive comments or likes, atleast to repay to the community for all the attention their egos get! DO NOT be a selfish swine, SUPPORT OTHER MEMBERS' EFFORTS, INCLUDING BEGINNERS! WE ALL NEED TO BE TOLD WERE APPRECIATED!

Does it count against you if you trace a object that is quite hard to free hand, and then change stuuf here in there, spiffy it up, and make it look good? Because I actually do that alot. (But I never trace photos or other paintings!)

I love this...I think it is total BS that traces and colorized photos can get picked for weeks' best over truly legitimate art...Rock On! BTW, I'm a newbie...so thanks for the comment about supporting beginners...haven't been here long enough to have a following, and think it kind of tacky to beg for likes...I honestly just do this for fun, my daughter was the one who wanted me to post some of my work...

If everybody followed these rules, #3 would have no need to be there and you could put in "Do not comment 'Check my gallery'"
