Do you mean why do they hate it? That's because (I quote from a kid in my class) "The guys only sing about girls, tractors, beer, and horses. The girls just sing about looooooove. What's so great about love and beer?" I was so ticked at him! So I said: "You obviously haven't heard much country music, then. Ever hear of Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood? They sing songs about love, true. But they also sing about revenge and tell stories within their music. For example, the song Mean was written about a critic, not a boyfriend."

Yep. Hey, there is a guy named jovanni in my class, and I acidentally called him Bon Jovi-- now it's his nickname around school :D
