This is a great painting. Although, I was wondering am I the only one who's thinking this reminds me of the horror movie "The Thing?" A group of scientists or explorers travel to some remote research facility or something... Btw, I don't see the big foot prints.

i never saw the movie "the thing" is it good?
and they haves no foot prints in the pictre. but it's a part of the story.

I forgot to mention that the remote facility was in an arctic region. It's been a very long time since I saw "The Thing." So, I wouldn't be a very reliable source about the movie.

One of my favorites on the site so far. All simple stokes and Poof, a great fantasy scene that refreshingly doesn't involve a bunch of fat space ships with glowing butts- altho, I'll probably end up sketching something similar sometime, they seem to be pretty popular these days. Great work. Wouldn't mind seeing more sketches off of this story line... other angles, scenes...
