Wow!!! This is a great painting. Yes Void, you do need some practice; we all do. Really, I thought you painted this from life. I had no idea you did this from your imagination. I sure am glad there are artists using this site that are better than I am so I can get free painting lessons and good art advice. Keep up the great work and you don't such at clouds. When you squint your eyes at this painting you see the values in this and you can tell you've got what it takes.
Your clouds are great. I would describe the whole thing, especially the sky, as lush. I like the lack of soft edges. To pull of a sky like this with bold, hard brush strokes is impressive. To see something that is supposed to be soft and fluffy, but is indicated so boldly is not only harder to do, but in my opinion, more beautiful. Much easier to "cheat" clouds with softer brushes. I don't care much for hyper-realistic paintings- take a photo. This is art.
Are you people kidding about how to improve this picture? Its perfect, probably one of the best sketches around here (besides Munin's stuff).
Colors! on the DS is about sketching not about doing the most refined paintings.
This picture is perfect!

I very much like the effect the clouds have. The look like rock in the sky - cool!

wicked! Agree with sketchling, could benefit from soft egdes here and there. Love how you added those poles on the ground for depth!

Nice! I agree with Inque... when you squint you could almost mistake it for real life as the colour values are just right. Well done!
