Shock POV: Inferno and I sprint back to the city. I cursed at myself. How could I have been so stu.pid?! I should've done something?! I heard a roar and looked up. The Dark One was leaving, flying back to his cave. Seeing that only made me run faster. We ran to the broken tower, then stopped dead in our tracks. "Oh no. Oh no, no, no." I said. I ran over to Sam's lifeless body. "C'mon, you can't be dead!"

Flame's POV: I run through a forest, staggering with every step. I should be dead. My family is alive but I should be dead. Blo.od flows from my body like a waterfall. My brother, my sister, my mother, all captured by the Dark One, and I couldn't do anything about it! I stumble and hit the hard earth, cursing. You see, I knew every part of the kingdom, I figured I could find help. Why do I know the entire kingdom you ask. The answer is simple, I will one day be its ruler. For I am Flame the Crimson Jingoua. My family has ruled over Draknos for many years. But now, one being threatens to sha.tter our world.

Leails's POV: All I can do is watch in horror as they carry Sam's body in. "She was only sixteen. How could you let her do that?!" I yell. (I'm tweaking the time.) "It's ok Leails, she's still alive." I hear Cinos say. "It's not ok! She could've died! Then what would we have done!" "T-the key word is could've." I heard someone croak behind us. "Sam! You're alive!" "Yeah, you are too. Shock, nice work." She said, grimacing as she stood up. Cinos's daughter, Maria runs up to her. "You shouldn't fight the big dragon anymore. You get hurt when you fight him." Maria said innocently. Sam looked like the wind was just knocked out of her. She staggered to Inferno, grabbing him by the shoulders. "What happened! I had him IN MY HANDS! Why am I here wrapped in bandages?! He was in my hands!" She yelled. "Sam, when we got there you were almost dead." Shock said, sympathetic. Sam took a few steps away from Inferno and dropped to her knees. "No. I-I had him. No. No, no, no!" She shuddered, sobbing. "He was right there, if I had only-" I walk over and put my hand on her shoulder. "Hey, everything's going to be ok-" "No! It's not ok and it won't ever be until that monster's dead!" Sam gets up and sprints, limping slightly into the forest. Shock and Inferno started quietly arguing about our next move and Cinos was comforting Maria. Flameno walked up to me. He was so brave for only being thirteen. "Leails, what are we going to do? Are we going to die?" "I don't know Flame, I honestly don't know."

Sam's POV: I run through the forest, my boots pounding the uneven terrain. Without stopping I jump and grab onto a branch, then swing and fling myself to a higher, thicker branch on a taller tree. No wings necessary. Spending ten years in the forest pushes your body to its physical and mental limits. I look to the sky and see a hawk fly by, screeching. From what I understood, it was surveying the damage, not trying to get anything. All of a sudden, there is a disturbance in the quiet, a rustling. My ears automatically point toward it. I tense, grateful that my fur color gives me camoflague. A red hedgehog like creature stumbles out, bleeding heavily. I jump and tackle him. The force of impact rolls us over, but I'm able to pin him against a tree. I set claws against his neck. "Who are you!? What are you doing here!? What are you?!" I yell in his face. "Answer me! Before I slit your throat!" His eyes are glazed over, but the words he utters shock me. "I-I am Flame the crimson jingoua, prince of Draknos, king of the flames." Then, he passed out and I was left with a muddled brain, my body beat to pieces, and a half dead prince.
