Haha, try not to overthink these characters XD I thought of thier backstory more as a last resort albeit completely insane emergency operation. But the backstory isn´t even that important, it´s more about the idea itself and the possible character-dynamics behind it. But the story of a mad scientist stitching two girls into one just for fun is a little bit disturbing, I agree XP

Again, try not to overthink this concept. I´m pretty much using Artistic Licence-Anatomy here. You can see in my artwork how they can thier part of thier face pretty independently, thus I imagine them to have two independent voices. It´s still a rather wacky, cartoony world we´re talking about, propably not as wacky Loony Tunes or Tom and Jerry but you don´t have to think through all the implications.

Just think of them as wierd characters in a slightly creepy reality :)

Seems like he didn´t want to take that step in your long-distance-internet-relationship just now. He propably liked the way you were talking and interacting with each other and being showed how someone you only talked to via the internet actually looks like often changes the way you see this person a lot. It wasn´t your fault you broke up but try to understand his perspective. Anyway, gtg now. I hope what I said was a little bit helpful to you XD
