So true! I have 2 friends who their oc are alicorns. the other one that is a brony, he doesn't have an OC.

I wish people would stop hating alicorns...(No offense) Is there something wrong with having both wings and magic? Just because they're alicorns doesn't mean that they're royalty. (although, some are) but still..If someone wants an alicorn OC, let them! Now, I do agree that there may be a few more than needed...but they shouldn't be put to shame. I have 3 OCs. A pegasus, a unicorn and an alicorn. So how about me? I have an alicorn OC, are you going to put me to shame, or are you going to think of me as a fellow brony? hm?

I never said I want to put anyone to shame, nor hate, I said that there are too many meta/alicorn OCs. There's nothing wrong with creating an original character and I have plenty of brony friends that have alicorns as an OC, the thing is I just realised that there are alot of them and wanted to poke a little fun and make people think.

Earth ponies are a challenge, since they don't have any obvious "advantages" compared to uni/pegi/Ali ponies. That's why I love them! You gotta think about how to work around such a handicap in a world of magical and/or flying ponies. I mean, even if you don't rp, just drawing an earth pony doing something simple like folding laundry presents so many logistical challenges!
Tl;dr Only REAL MEN use earth ponies!

Because alicorns imply some sort of royalty and as you know, not all ponys are royal.

Just look at the season finale. It takes being a student like twilight to be an alicorn. I don't think Celestia would turn 75 percent into alicorns.
