This is so cool! I've noticed a lot of people wanna be popular, so they comment on famous peoples galleries to get them to make them famous... They don't realize how hard it is being famous...

I've gotta put this at a 1. Being popular isn't so hard as becoming popular. And I work my as.s off on quality pictures that get a few measly likes from a couple of my friends. I've heard all the "post regularly" crap, but I post very frequently, some weeks I post AT LEAST once every day, with good pictures. And everybody just ooohs and ahhhs over a traced screenshot from minecraft that obviously shows no real effort. And it gets old really quick. So I don't care what you say, popularity is easy, because even your worst art gets hundreds of likes.

Well the thing about having alot of attention from the audience of colors is, you have people bugging you about your FC and they barley know you, then when you add them most of them tend to want to talk to you at once. then there are haters, spammers, gudges, ext. who just want to see your reaction and if you dont react well it will cause an agument, if you loose the fight you could also loose tons of your fans. if you dont react at all fans will for you and turn your comments into a battle feild. then theres keeping your self fresh every week. and keeping yourself confedent enough to continue doing the same thing. managing Swapnotes giving all your friends the attention they need from you, not to mention real world problems like work, school, arrons, ext. ext.
its all just one big stressful mess.

i give it a 3. its good for some, but it doesnt help me. i'm not arrogant, but i think i have some pretty d*mn good pics in my gallery. and i dont even have so much as a single gold star on any of them. doesnt mean i'll quit posting art, i dont post for the likes anyway, but still, its nice to get some recognition every now and then. i dont care much about popularity, but i would like to get more likes. however, i refuse to be one of there gallery wh*res who are all like "check out my gallery" on every post and pic. anyways, like i said, good advice for some i suppose, but it does nothing for me..
and you do have some popularity, i've heard/seen your name around a lot ever since i first came to colors.

I give it a 3. The artwork looks great, but you're saying that people don't need to change to become popular. The reality is, if people are making certain art and aren't becoming popular at all, they need to change. Not everyone is popular, like you say. Everyone CAN be popular if they create art that people like. They should try adding new styles or themes in their art, if their current art isn't liked by a lot of people. You know what? I'm giving this a 1 instead.
