great 3d efect woah

thnx but Im not too happy with it, was a rushed, confused job in the midst of making xmas happen for the family. i cooked two large duck and a big pig roast to perfection in a small gas stove while doing this! lol

Hey I was wondering how long does it usually take you to finish a painting?

SHELIE no idea hun, its very different..but several hours usually..this one felt like it took a long time, maybe 6 hours, and im still very far from happy w it, but after i upped it i sat down and made another star wars pic in half as long..about..3 hours..that im much happier with, i will up it later..

well i compare my stuff to my own stuff and the pic i had in my mind, not other people's stuff. i judge other peoples' art based on other criteria than i do my own, unless they are as good or better than me, then im more critical but still try to focus on what i like rather than what i do not..u know, there is always something to fault once u start looking for it, but that is a slippery slope for what is to gain? if an artist is more accomplished he will only be annoyed with my opinion, and if he is less accomplished he will find my advice arrogant. SO i can say this piece is fundamentally flawed, while praising a Kirby pic some 11 yr old put love into, and it never even enters my mind that it is not as accomplished (by far) as my own flawed piece. ok im rambling..and im itching to upload a pic! lol

Well its true any picture is good if that person put the time an effort into making it, no matter how it turns out long as you are doing what you love and put your heart into what you are doing, that stands out most, no matter what the quality of the picture might be thats also why free handed art is always the best art.

no, correct, that is EXACTLY why freehand is ALWAYS better, both for the audience to see and the artist to do! and since u cant sleep i will upload a pic for u to enjoy, inspired by 'weekend kids' staying w their dad during the vacation :)

The reason my arts not as good as it can be is cause I lost some of my fingers as a kid so its tough for me but I still try the best I can And I think my arts gotten a little better now. also helps when I see other peoples wonderful art. by the way could I add you to my friends if you dont mind?
