Merry "non-denominational, fully inclusive, offensive to nobody because it's all about spending time with loved ones" day! Christ is great for Christians, but everyone else would rather NOT spend the day weeping over man tortured to death and left to rot in the sun almost two thousand years ago. That'd just be DEPRESSING.

Would you be happy if people insisted on calling it "All Hallows Eve" instead of Halloween? Or insisted you praise the harvest goddess for your fall bounty? What if someone made you give the summer solstice all the respect they do? Those are all things people have done for a lot longer, and some still do to this day.

christmas is a pagan holiday that has nothing to do with christ actually the fictional character jesus was probably born in the fall or spring if he existed at all
