some of my pictures have been just vanishing when I upload them and even my good piantings seem to disappear but then come back after a day or two .-. its so weird.

I think it depends on a few different factors. I think the day of the week you upload and the amount of popular pics at time might have bumped your pic of the weeks best. Don't know for sure though:]

I think Collecting Smiles is having trouble adjusting to the sudden influx of Vita users. That'd put a fair amount of strain on the servers that host the images, I bet. Or maybe someone is reporting you, and those reports are being overturned.

Did they change TWB's formula then? This only caught my attention because, like, a month ago(?) when one of my pictures made it into TWB It'd be up there for like, a week, before dissapearing... Plus, I see other pictures staying longer! I know I'm terrible with time, but I can't be THIS terrible.

Anyway, mmhmm mhmm.... That sounds plausable; like I told PM, I only noticed this because all my other TWB paintings stayed in that gallery much longer until recently... I guess my theory about Colors! changing their gallery formula is, somewhat correct... But, isn't other painings there staying longer? Or am my horrible senses of time getting worse?

Cam and Ramb were telling me how my Noel picture, the one that came before the picture of me and Ramb, dissapeared from my gallery for like an hour. I was in and out and It never left the gallery from my side.

No. Im a big meany that opens your eyes to the real world. But even then, even I wouldn't say selfish. I think the best fitting phrase is too paranoid.
Like, you see something you don't think deserves TWB there and you can't wait for it to go away, but that's just gonna make it seem like an hour is a day and it's been MORE than a week since it's been there when really it's just been like 3-4 days.
So I think it's backwards for you. You want something to stay and it leaves as soon as it's been posted for a week but you thought it's only been 2-3 days. My best guess is that Dollick is right and it just took it's time getting into TWB.

Doll: I very much dislike beggars... lol We won't know wether it's good or bad til' it happens -w- So far, everything sounds great. They said they'd have it out before the end of the year...

I'm not an expert, but this I've observed: Before, something would be in "This Week's Best" until it reaches 7 days from the time it was posted and to the very minute this was accurate. Now that they introduced the new algarythm to sort paintings in "Top Rated" so that nothing is in there forever (if you look, they're sorted the same way new paintings are on the website, which is stars and newness, not just one or the other), paintings in "This Week's Best" are periodically filtered. This means there's a delay time between appearing and dissapearing. But, while this might seem annoying sometimes, it means your paintings can potentially end up in top ranked and could be pulled out and featured even after their time in TWB has expired. This would of course depend on their popularity. Ugh, I explained that poorly. Sorry! I tried!

i think i figured out who the flagger could be. there's someone on here who calls himself 'Stay Blocky' and he draws *shudders* hentai. i took a look at new paintings, and whenever his stuff is there, nothing new gets added to the gallery.

I think TWB is just glichy...I almost have two gold stars on 1 of my pics but it was never on TWB.

I've noticed! But that was a while ago, I tend to not check TWB anymore after the whole 'dot' incident...-_-;

guarguan ramb: yes!! Stay Blocky posted a lot of *gag* hentai right around the time I posted a painting. My painting never showed up, I had to repost because it got flagged! There wasn't even anything wrong with it! QnQ And Stay Blocky's paintings were at the top for a very long time. There's definetely something fishy about that. He also got so many gold stars. D: Darn p3rverts. And Utena, you are nowhere near selfish. You earned your popularity the right way, and your problem is something to worry about. Many of my latest paintings have been disapperaing as well. :S This is one odd glitch. Oh update, please come soon. :U

Ramb: I was thinking the same; I saw 4 of his/her pictures in new arrivals aswell during a occasional browsing session. There's supposed to be a 3 picture a day limit; either they changed it, or he/she hacked. Or he/she has two accounts.

Utena, does anyone else have access to your computer at home? Have you tried changing all of your ********* and writing them down somewhere untill you can memorize them and keep them straight? I hate it that such a talented artist as you is having such trouble here. :(
