Your gallery's not too shabby ^_^. I'm not at all opposed to tracing when used as a learning tool. Next time you should try breaking down your reference picture into the basic steps of sketching. First make a "wire frame" of the object you're tracing, then use the eraser tool at about 75-/- opacity to make the wire frame a lighter shade. After that, switch to the layer above your translucent wire frame and begin fleshing out your drawing subject. After that, trace in the details.
Now that you've fully formed your line-sketch, switch back to the layer you made your wire frame on and use it to begin coloring. Finally, once your color has been filled in, merge your colored layer with your line sketch and trash trash the excess layer remaining beneath your completed drawing.
Hopefully that was clear enough to be helpful. Keep practicing using my Tracing Breakdown method and before long, I guarantee your freehand drawing will improve.
