I was wearing a feather in my hair, and it made me think about drawing a feather. And peacock feathers are so pretty, so I looked for a ref pic. I found this picture and drew it. I think that it turned out pretty well and I like how it looks sketchy. The black splotches make it look cool too, like ink spilled out of my pen.
