See, the reason Rika has been placed in a labyrinth is because Fredrica Bernkastel, the Witch of Miracles from Umineko no Naku Koro Ni. The only thing that can erase a Witch is boredom, so Fredrica created a new universe in which where she could play a game, with Rika as one of her pawns. So you could say she rules two different universes.
