Nice picture, but actually Birdo is a boy, but thought he was a girl due to his pink color. Just thought feedback might help.

There can be both male and female Birdos but they act and dress all the same... if I remember correctly. But Birdo's gender nowdays is unspecified most of the times, so there can be no fights on the matter anymore.

That's the Birdo from my childhood! People speculate that Yoshi and Birdo are a couple but that Yoshi (being that its a girls name in japan) is the female and that her mate, the newer nice Birdo, is male.
