I have a research project about Antarctic exploration to do. The rough draft is due Monday, and I've barely started it (I'm such a procrastinator (spelling?) XI). I had a riding lesson last weekend--first one for a while. Wild Fire and I had been taking turns being sick XD

Ooh, I don't like writing asighnments either. but I normally get them done ASAP so I don't worry about it :) I have absolutely no ideas for drawing on here. I am terrible at drawing on here! I wish I could copy what Ive drawn on paper onto here. Wouldn't that be awesome?

Spring break...finally! My school had to make up three snow days, but now they're over and I can enjoy the break. My family's going to an aquarium tomorrow. Yay! ^-^

The aquarium was great! There were too many little kids stepping in front of me and on my feet, but the exhibits were really nice. My favorite part was in the jellyfish section, one of the Atlantic Sea Nettles was swimming in a circle--looked like it was chasing its tail!
We also discovered there was a Ripley's Believe It or Not museum really close, so we went there as well! There was a really awesome mirror maze :D

sweet! I'm on spring break until next Monday :D :D I havent been to an aquarium in years since my family went to Chicago. :) I remember they had a sea turtle named Nickel because when it was younger it swallowed one. Thats pretty much all I remember from that trip ^-^

Next Monday? I went back to school today! X/ Are you planning on going anywhere over break?

I went to NY to my aunts house for Easter, but We are staying home for the rest of break. what about you ?

My spring break was pretty busy. Thursday, as I mentioned before, we went to the aquarium and Ripley's Believe It or Not museum. Saturday, we went to my mom's parents to celebrate Easter, and on Sunday we went to my dad's parents. This week I had to do a speech in English class about the Antarctic Exploration topic my research paper is about. I did pretty well on it, but it was quite nerve-racking!

Good luck for your show! I went on a trail ride on Saturday. My riding instructor has three dogs and they all came along with us. The littlest one strayed behind, and she didn't follow us back to the barn, and another found a puddle, lapped up some water, then lay down in it XD

I'm so ready for summer, too! The thought of my first finals makes me shudder 8l

I had a lesson Saturady, and it went REALLY well. :) im happy. My trainer said that my position was fantastic. I only had minor issues with distances for the jumps and canter lead changes. :)

That's great! My Wii broke recently--and right after we got a bunch of new games! I'd started playing Okami, and I love that game, but the startup story is soooooo long! We also got a horse racing game, which is really fun. It had a multiplayer option so Wild Fire and I were competing. But then our Wii broke and we're getting it fixed.

Oh no! I don't have a Wii, though, so I don't know what that game you're talking about is. :T sorry. I'm so happy that we're finally getting some nice weather here. :)

My show yesterday went really well. I got 2 first places in my jumping classes, 1 second in the medal/ equitation class, and a third place in my flat class/ hunter under saddle. The judge said that I would've gotten first if I had gotten my leads. (I missed my left one twice. :( ) I'm very proud of my horse, Elliot. :) And myself, too. I've been working really hard. :) Do you and Wild Fire show?

Great job! Wild Fire and I have only shown once at our riding stables last summer :) We were in walk and jog, walk, jog and canter, and pleasure classes, as well as egg and spoon. I got second in walk and jog, third in walk, jog, and canter, and first in pleasure (there were only three of us, though). I didn't place in egg and spoon. We want to learn to run barrels and then ride English :D

YES! Ride English! I love it! In my opinion its a lot harder than Western (hope i don't offend you) because they jugde on form, not speed. You have to equitate. Eyes up, heels doen, leg on and back, toes in, shoulders back, hands together, thumbs up. Thats some things that you have to constantly do to ride English. Sorry if I offended you. Its just that its my whole world and I like to talk about it. :)

Hmmm...I can't really think of any questions to ask at the moment, but here's a kinda silly one: Is it harder to stay in an English saddle than a Western Saddle? I know that's worded very badly, so to hopefully explain a bit, English saddles are smaller and look a bit slippery...XD

yes, English is probably harder to stay on. And thats not a silly question! :) Its harder because you do have to support yourself and gain muscle to grip with your legs and have your weight in your heels. Good saddles won't be really slippery, but you still have to hold on. :) When you are a beginner don't worry about it because you should start out slow, and you'll gain muscle as you go along, of that makes sense. :)

I had a riding lesson yesterday and learned how to run barrels. It was really fun except for the fact that the horse I was on was being a brat. Next time I'm riding the horse Wild Fire was on because he knew what he was doing and he's good at it :) We'll probably start English sometime over the summer, but I really don't know.

Even though we know not ALL western is bad, of course :P its like people who argue and critizise other peoples favorite football teams ;)

No, there aren't any bad stories about English. I'm pretty sure Wild Fire and I started with riding Western because it's easier, and more common at the stables we ride at :) And we'll have the same riding instructor. She owns the stables (well, it's also a farm)--it's not like some sort of formal riding stables or anything (uh, not sure if that seemed mean; sorry if it did! o_o). But anyways, our riding instructor teaches both :)

How would that seem mean? I'm not sure what you mean my "formal" though :P That's cool. My trainer just mainly does English. :)

I get so discouraged when I draw on here. Nobody notices, but my art doesn't deserve to be, really. I'm terrible at drawing on my 3DS. I try, but it just never works :T Sorry I'm like, being depressing right now :P

Awww, cheer up! I think your WIPs are amazing! I know it's hard, but if you try to finish the work you start, you'll attract a lot of fans ;D Sometimes I start something and think, "This looks horrible!" Sometimes I finish it and it turns out okay, but I do have some I'm either stuck on or too lazy to work on :)

Sorry I haven't been on much either! I've been busy riding and stuff like that :) I'm loving summer!

I'm loving summer too! And guess what? We got four more kittens! They were left out on the stable manager of my riding stables' driveway, and she was able to gather up four of them. The rest ran away, but by now she was able to rescue them and put them in a no-k.ill shelter. The four we have were taken to the stables because no no-k.ill shelters were open at the time. So Wild Fire, our mom, and I took care of them in their cage, and we managed to talk our dad into keeping them :) We haven't named them yet, but I'll tell you what they look like. The oldest one (he was in a different litter than the other three) is an orange tabby with a flatish face. There's also a tiny scrawny orange tabby, a silver tabby, and a longhaired black tabby. They're adorable! ^<>^

We finally named the kittens! The big orange one is Winston (not my idea), the little orange one is Robin, the silver one is Freya, and the black one is Momo :)

Awww! Kittens are just SO cute! ^_^. so once again, I have to apologize for not being on here in ages. I've been riding a lot, and working really hard. I had my last lesson on Saturday, and when I was jumping I could feel that my leg was on and I was light in the saddle, like I'm supposed to be. So I feel like some of that work has paid off. :) Still theres ALWAYS loads of things to work on, but its the small little victories that make me really excited after working for so long at it. It certainly wasn't flawless, of course. But its progress. :) And I'm sorry to hear of Sunny's passing. I left a comment on his painting :)

It's okay that you haven't been on lately. And thanks for the comment; I miss Sunny, but I'm definately not as sad about his passing as I used to be. Every time I'd think about him, I'd cried (mostly at night). But I'm sure he's happier now :) Anyways, are you planning on going on vacarion any time this summer? I know my family's planning on white water rafting. I'm so excited! I LOVE white water rafting--the more rapids the better!

Hey! I had a show yesterday, I got two seconds, two thirds, a first, and reserve champion. ^-^ I actually did a lot better than I thought I did. But there were only four total in my division, so... take that any way that u want. :3 And I've never been white water rafting, but a lot of people say its really fun. maybe I will someday. I don't think that my family has any vacations planned. We're busy with lots of other things this year, I guess. :) And by the way, do you know how to add tags to a painting on colors? I don't. :P

Anyways, I keep forgetting to say that in my last riding lesson we cantered with no stirrups and the reins in one hand. It was totally awesome! ^O^

That's cool! I've cantered with no stirrups over jumps, too. :) Its more difficult, but it helps me with my position. ;)

Wow! That must take balance :O My family went to the Six Flags amu.se.ment park on Tuesday (what? "Amu.se.ment" is sensored?). It was so hot out but the rides were great! Except we went on this raft ride with rapids so we could get wet, and only our parents got wet! So we went on it again and only our parents and brother got wet...though my feet got wet, leaving my sneakers squishy for the rest of the time there. The roller coasters were awesome, and so was a ride that was like a slingshot. They launched you and someone else--Wild Fire and I went on together--into to the air, and you bounced up and down a couple times. So basically, Six Flags was fun!

Uuuuuugh...my mouth hurts...I got my wisdom teeth pulled out today and now it feels uncomfortable to eat anything. Sorry, I don't mean to sound whiney, I'm just kinda miserable right now...

Aw man, school starts on August 26th for me. I wish summer would last longer...when do you start school? Has it started already for you?
