well my son thinks im insane for drawing ponies, my daughter is just a baby, my step daughter too old, and my sponsor kids live in China where Kitty rules supreme, so i never even knew the ponies survived the early 80s till i got COLORS! i just draw them because of the challenge and because it makes a lot of people happy since they are into ponies, so why not! as u know, i draw everything else too, in fact i plan on finishing an mc escher piece very very different piece today for a contest, and then i am kinda interested in seeing if i can do one of those kick-*** landscapes that wow people so..i like wowing people, perhaps that is my ultimate joy in drawing at all..hmm..

btw i loved the dark side comment, total LOL! OH man..an adult male, highly educated, drawing ponies while his kid kills a man per minute on the playstation..it truely is a new world from the one we were born in.

I have never watched the show these ponies come from, but I love this painting I must have looked at it so many times now, love the eyes on that grey pony behind the pink one and the pink ones mouth! and the details on that village below is awesome, I love looking at your paintings!

Shelie thnx 4 ur kind comments! actually, i have never seen even one episode of this show. i saw a documon youtube to learn about them in preparation for doing my pony pics and googled each characters pics to learn their distinctive traits. im happy u notice some of the details im most pleased with myself, although Rarity's hair, the grey behind the pink, is my top along w her eye, which u like. but i did them all full body when doing this, so i got to love them all through all the hours of research and drawing it took to do! the village and woodland also are bigger and more detailed, but hidden behind objects and fog..this world really exists even where you cant see it lol

You are so dedicated to your art, its so nice that you really put your heart into your paintings, and you can really feel like you accomplished something when you finish a picture and be happy with yourself. Id really love too see what that village looked like before you added the ponies, it must look amazing.
