Thanks everyone! Your kind words and constructive feedback is truly appreciated. I gotta of couple people asking how long this painting took. Well, I don't base the value of a piece on the time invested, and I like you to think about art in the same way, but this one took about ten hours, including the staring. There's always lots of staring involved, heh heh. The techniques I use are fairly simple when you break them down, you can watch the video. :)

Before I even checked to see your other works I knew you would be the guy who made the stellar jellyfish pic a couple days back. You really have an eye for detail, color, and a good sense for how the 3D can be best used. I love how your subjects so far have been marine creatures, though not ones that have been done over and over. There isn't much to say other then don't stop, because, whatever it is you're doing there, it looks fantastic.
