Lefká Ori - Crete by Splotch
Mountain range in western Crete. The rigth one could be the Pachnes (2453m), but I´m not sure. Painting from life. I did not refine it later to preserve it´s sketchy look although I tweaked the brigthness of the PNG a bit to compensate for the display-problems while painting.

Yep, I see what you mean! Beautiful stuff, man. Unfortunately, work like this doesn't seem to get much praise here. Personally, I love quick little plein air paintings like these.

@goosekeeper: I guess you are right - but nevertheless I like this kind of painting and as long as i find some others here who have a similar view on things, I don´t care. Besides the DS and colors are the perfect tools for quick outdoor sketches for most other stuff I would prefer a pen tablet.
