not bad at all! if u like advice, if u want to learn how to draw, u cannot be scared, u must be brave. what i mean is, if u wish to learn to do legs, for example, dont be a wuss and hide two thirds of the legs! do the full legs with feet (just make a shoe if feet are too daunting right now)! its really important and effective to 'over-challenge' yourself when it comes to any skill acquisition, not least drawing! so go ahead and do full legs, 100 of them, walking, running, etc. start w a match stick drawing to set the positioning and proportions, then make them into sausages w joints, then polish to final shape, thats the ticket. oh, and be aware of how they join to the torso, u know legs starts at the hips, thats where drawing them starts too! hope u can appreciate the advice, im only trying to help you, not be a meanie! cheers, and keep at it! practise makes the master! and remember, u learn more from making one freehand pic of legs than from tracing fifty pics someone else made, bc that gives you much more intuition of how to draw the subject.
Wow, thank you! In this case I just didn't have anymore room for the legs :p yeah never drawing the part I can't draw won't solve my problem! For now I'm not very good at proportions :s and I get what you mean about the hips, I had a lot of trouble not making the legs too "disjointed" from the rest of the body and I'm still not sure how I should have drew them :p well thank you for the advice actually I look forward for more advice like this. I'm not a very frequent uploader though because I mostly draw with a pen on my notebooks during lessons XD and I wanted to use a pen-like technique with this drawing since that's what I'm the most used to
