Fabulous. It's nice to finally see someone on here that appreciates black metal. If you do not mind me asking, what other bands do you enjoy listening to?
Mostly black metal but some death metal too. Wolves In The Throne Room, Nachtmystium, Degial, Enslaved etc. What sort of bands do you like? Thanks for your interest.
Sweet; I find myself greatly engaged in the black metal scene as well as the death metal scene. I've always enjoyed orchestral music, so I tend to lean forwards bands that incorporate symphonic/melodic elements to their sound, although I do enjoy those whose sounds are extremely raw. I am also a big folk metal fan...Something about the usage of fiddles, hurdy gurdys, and whistles just interests me. It seems so "medieval" to me; I love it. I listen to nearly all the other sub-genres of metal, too, as well as ambient, rock, electronic (not dubstep), and occassionally classical. It all depends on the song and how it is composed.
