Hey you, youre lucky Im watching my account on the website incl. pics Ive posted comments in, or I would never have seen your reply. To ensure someone sees your posts to them, you have to post in a picture in their gallery.
however, traced means you imported a picture into your Colors 3D for reference..as opposed to freehand, where you only look at the object, or even just imagine it. When I watch your animation, you spend no time outlining perspective, proportions, anything..everything is placed correctly first time..hence it seems you trace..or as you called it, used a photo reference..This is not regarded as in the same league as freehand artworks ofcourse, but can still be a good colouring job etc. Yours is very good indeed.

Thanks LackaDaisiCal for the explanation but this image is not traced: the original image was on my pc and I made the pic at hand, just looking the image on my laptop. ;)

Hey you, thats cool, Im glad it's not traced, youre just a great artist, thats wonderful, I certainly welcome you aboard. There is no need to upload ur reference pic, indeed you cannot, its alæl good, but in the future I would note my works as 'freehand from reference' or 'freehand inspired by photo', because the phrase 'photo used as reference' is exactly the phrase used in the software when you import a pic for tracing.
I am certainly looking forward to see more of your art, and I hope you will take time to check my stuff, perhaps there are some works you like among them. Dont be a stranger!
