Gaz i take my hat off to you, simply lovely. Did you do this on an iPad or iPhone? I've tried using the iPod version and couldn't muster a single piece of art lol.
Thnx all for the great comments, it's very encouraging , @ haru Kazuhira this one was done on I pad, the second one I've done on it now, froze up a few times on me whilst painting but didn't bother me to much, :))
I don't usually offer critique unless asked for (most users on here seem to take it like I'm shitting in their cereal), but I'm going out on a limb here and suggesting you watch your perspective lines. I suffer from the same problem from time to time... they are too overt and my eye seems to rest on the brightest patch of grass just below where you really want the eye to travel to. Having said that, I will say yet again, you have really switched gear and your recent work shows it. The old Constable style barn and cart wheel leaning against the fence is wonderfully done.Hope you take a friendly critique as intended. I really want to see more.
Oh no, pooh in me cornflakes and pooh all over me patch of grass, lol, yeah I know it's way off, I tried to correct it at various save points, then I tried to hide it in various ways, none of which worked, so I decided to live with it and finish the painting as I liked the barn, I believe all helpful feedback is great munin, it helps me to progress and improve :) I must say tho I felt a lot better about the painting after I'd put the rabbits in, so you had just better not be pickin on my bunnys he he :)
Ahah, cornflakes. That particular breakfast cereal demands a special kind of diet - for at least a few days - to attain the particular consistency and colour I have in mind ;) Seriously though, your recent uploads show a kind of epiphany on your behalf. Whatever change of direction you have had, please, keep it up. Good stuff! Oh, and I would never turn on bunnies. Never!
Amazing Gaz simply amazing, I'm only going to pretend to understand what Munin's on about lol but to me whether the perspective lines do cart wheels or not to get this amount of detail on the iPhone is outstanding, I yet again bow to your artistic talents :)*
Hi Micky, nice to see you back, After seeing this comment I went straght to your gallery to see if you had posted anything, not as yet :( I'll have to wait a bit longer lol,
Cheers Micky, I tend to just suddenly see things in the painting and put it in, in this case the barn, then I sort of tried to make the rest of the painting fit the barn lol, tried a few alterations wasn't happy with the results so went back to my save point and carried on regardless, oh well Monet was said not to bother about perspective too much, lol, any ideas when you will be posting again, would love to see some new stuff :))
Cheers for the comments folks, @ saeedvita no I've never had an art lesson , I've always loved drawing and painting tho , watch replays of the paintings you like to pick up tips on how they we're done, and lots and lots of practice, if you have chance to go to art classes go , have fun :)

Hi klausboss , that's so cool to think an artist who's work I admire can learn some new stuff from my playbacks, it's also nice that you hold my work amongst your favourites in this gallery as there are so many great artists on here, thank you :) Munin is a very talented artist as you know, he did a series of plein air paintings around Snowdonia in wales where I used to walk and climb which included my favourite mountain Tryfan, his work captured the feel and atmosphere of the place I love so much, this is what I want to be able to achieve when I paint a landscape :)

I did not know these deeds of Munin : / his technique it is incredible.. you make paintings that make us travel, this is something that few can ..
